‘गोकुळ’ची सकाळ बरेचदा ‘करंट अफेअर्स’नं सुरू होते. सकाळी वाचलेली महत्वाची बातमी घेऊन मी गोकुळात शिरले की त्या बातमीच्या आधारे आमची चर्चा रंगत जाते आणि त्यातून पुढच्या पुढच्या अभ्यासाचा पाया रचला जातो. कधी कधी मुलंच बातम्या घेऊन येतात, त्यावेळी मला कोण आनंद होतो. नागरिक म्हणून त्यांची ‘जडण -घडण’ current affairs च्या माध्यमातून होताना बघून जीव सुखवतो.
१२ मार्चची सकाळ अशीच CAA संबंधित बातमीनं सुरू झाली. या कायद्याचा अर्थ समजून घेण्यासाठी त्यावर चर्चा झाली… प्रश्न विचारले गेले… उत्तरं शोधली गेली… चर्चा वाढत गेली… अनेक मुद्द्यांना स्पर्श करत रंगत गेली.
CAA समजून घेण्यासाठी सुरू झालेली चर्चा संसद, संविधान, निवडणूक, मतदान, लोकसंख्या, इतिहास, संस्कृती, सहानुभूती, भू-राजनीति आणि धर्म या सगळ्या मुद्द्यांभोवती फिरत खूप खोलात गेली.
या कायद्याचे फायदे, कायदा अमलात आणताना उद्भवू शकणाऱ्या समस्या, त्यावर करता येऊ शकणारे उपाय यावर राष्ट्राची युवा पिढी विचार मंथन करत होती. विचार मंथन झाले आता ते लिहिण्यातून अभिव्यक्त होणे ही पुढची पायरी अत्यंत महत्वाची.
इराने लिहिलं ‘This law matters the way we use it.’
तर आर्याला – ‘The religions which are welcomed can continue their own Sanskriti’. हे भावलं!
अन्विषा वय वर्ष १३ म्हणते – ‘This law is one of the examples that shows Bharat welcomes everyone without discrimination. This is how Bharat is stepping forward and supporting others to step forward as well.’
तर अनुश्रीला म्हणते – ‘This is the law which will protect the disregarded rather targeted religions in the neighboring fanciest countries.
जेमतेम १० वर्ष वय असलेल्या काव्या म्हणते ‘I think this law is a great way to provide respect they deserve and security they need.’
हितांश म्हणतो ‘CAA proves that Bharat is at its right path e.g. वसुधैव कुटुंबकम्।’
‘This will create an unique image of our Bharat on the global level.’ ९ वर्षाच्या अस्मिला आपले वेगळेपण अचूक ओळखू येते.
‘Implementation of this act seems hard considering the size of our population but in reality it’s practical for those living here with different nationalities to come forward, complete the formalities and live a free life following their own culture, being भारतीय’ आणि या सगळ्यांच्यात वास्तव लक्षात घेऊन अगदी मुद्देसूत मत मंडतोय १२ वर्षाचा आदित.
एक भारतीय म्हणून असाच clarity कॅनवास गरजेचा आहे , नाही का?
